Have you heard of that trust/relationship building exercise where you literally have to fall backwards from a standing position? You have to trust that your partner is going to catch you and prevent you from hitting the ground.
Annie and Ben were married at the beautiful Vines Restaurant in Coldstream. We started and finished the day at the beautiful Yering Gorge cottages, this setting provided the backdrop to some great moments later in the day. Annie is a long distance runner and Ben was in the mood for a run, we had a lot of fun. Later in the day Annie’s parents pulled out the ‘little miss bossy’ and the ‘mr lazy’ books during there speech, this combined […]
Simone and James got married in Sorrento at James’ beautiful seaside residence. The sun was out, the band played next to the swimming pool, the champagne flowed and the intimate gathering had a great day. Marcus Seeger from Couch Media did the videography, and I eagerly await the video highlights to be posted. As well as being great to work with, Marcus has an approach to wedding videography that i haven’t seen in Melbourne. Photography by David McArthur from I […]
I love computers and digital photography and have been refining my workflow technique for a while now and have recently come up with a 3 stage post production technique that I use for all of my weddings I shoot. As well as outputting the files to different resolutions eg high res is the full size file (approx 60 mb), medium res (suitable for post card prints, and email sized files, I also output all of the files in 3 lots […]
Brenda and Sunny marriage was a beautiful mix of cultures, a lot of colour and energy that surged through the day. Held at the Tatra Receptions in Mount Dandenong. Marcus from Couch Media was there to record the video, and did a great job. To take a closer look check out this link Photography by David McArthur from I Do Weddings – Photography
Well often when I am traveling I am in such a hurry to where I am going that I don’t take any photographs; this trip was an exception. The Mallee country North of Bendigo has a solemn, quiet beauty to it that takes a city boy like me with some surprise. The clouds and the light after some rain were just amazing.
Kara and John got married in August last year, it was an entirely original and really lovely wedding! The ceremony took place at the Emerald Lake Park and was presided over by Johnny Von Goes who kept all of the guests entertained. The reception was held at Chateau Wyuna in Mt. Evelyn but en-route we stopped off at the local IGA for some refreshments. Enjoy the photos… David McArthur – I Do Weddings – Photography 12/8/09
Dani and Jono got married at the Kimberley Gardens (just down the end of the street from me) function centre on the 6th of September 2009. It was a great day filled with much love and happiness. I hope the photographs reflect the emotions of the day. After the ceremony we headed down to Southbank and although a little blustery we we went for a walk, and eventually eventually ended up at the Central Pier Atlantic South Wharf. From there […]
Well what words can I write here. Not much. Have a look at the photos and let me know if you think Simone and Ryan didn’t have a great wedding?? The ceremony took place at the Caulfield Synagogue and later we went to the Hilton on the park where the dancing was the most exuberant I have ever seen. For some more photography from Simone and Ryan’s wedding have a look at this link David McArthur – I Do Weddings […]
